CLUB TERM OF REFERENCE (ToR)

1.  Background

The NDLD Club was established in 2012 under the initiative of the ECE Department with the aim of setting up a campus radio station and an electronics repair shop. The concept originated from Mrs. Karma Kelang Eudon, Head of Department, and was further developed by a group of interested ECE students. The club was officially accepted on 21st September 2012 during the SMT meeting. Since its inception, the club has engaged in fundraising activities, skill development programs, and community entertainment events.

2.  Purpose

The NDLD Club exists to:

     

      • Provide radio broadcasting services within the CST campus.
        • Operate an electronics repair shop for skill enhancement and service provision.
        • Foster a student-oriented learning environment that blends practical and theoretical knowledge.

           

            • Promote entertainment, communication, and cultivate leadership and responsibilities.

      3.  Objectives
      Radio Broadcasting Station:

         

          • Establish CST’s own private FM station.
            • Broadcast open forums, discussions, and news.
            • Host entertainment programs such as debates and singing.

               

                • Develop student management and communication skills.

          Electronics Repair Shop:

             

              • Offer hands-on experience in electronics repair and maintenance
              • Facilitate exposure to electronic components and devices.
              • Support radio equipment upkeep and maintenance.

              4.  Scope of Activities

              The NDLD Club will:

                 

                  • Manage and operate the campus FM station.
                  • Maintain and repair electronics equipment for the college community.
                  • Organize annual fundraising events such as Fete Day and Inter-Class Fashion Shows.
                  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on all radio equipment.

                      5.  Membership

                         

                          • ECE Department students .
                          • Current membership: 124 students.

                              • The club will submit annual activity and financial reports to the college administration.
