1. Background

- The name of this club shall be ‘CST Multimedia Club’

- Multimedia is content that uses a combination of different content forms such as text, audio, images, animation, video and interactive content.

- This club is divided into four categories: photography, software/graphics and creative content creation. Members shall specialize in one and learn other areas side by side.

- This club shall provide basics multimedia skills through ‘Skills Learning Classes’ and help students to showcase their talents by organizing events.

- Due to its vast application in day to day life of an engineer, where presentations have to be created using not only pictures but to make your concepts and ideas more realistic and easier to understand, the integration of pictures, audio and video have become a necessity. Technical reports are needed to be supported with pictures and video, so without the basic skills in photography and video making and editing, you are handicapped with only the engineering degree.

- In this club an engineer will learn the basics of photography, Photoshop, video making, video editing, web designing, creating logo, design of newspapers, magazines by making use of the Adobe Software Suite, the most widely used software in the world

4.Objectives
4.1 To keep the archives of the college events of a semester
- College Photographers will attend every college activity and keep the archives of the events in the form of pictures and video
4.2Help club members to explore basic multimedia skillsClub members learn the following basic skills in the ‘Skills Learning Class’
- to film videos with DSLR or mirrorless camera and edit the videos with various latest editing software.
- take pictures with digital cameras and use software to edit the photos
- learn basic
- create posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newspaper, and books using Adobe software.
- to actively build creative content creation ideas and inspire other members through peer-learning.
- create promotional video for both academic and co-curricular activities in the college.

4.3 To help college students showcase their multimedia talents
- Club will organize competition among the students such as Photography Contest and short film competition.
- Connecting with other RUB colleges
- Club will try connect with other RUB colleges through screening of movies, inter-colleges competitions.
5.Club Membership
5.1 Club Adviser

- Club Adviser shall be chosen from the staff, she/he shall have basic skills of multimedia.

- To provide consistent guidance to club in charge.
5.2 Multimedia Club in Charge.
- Club in charge shall be nominated among the club members, she/he has to be a final year with experience and skills.
- Election shall be based on voting.
- Club adviser and only the club members are eligible for the voting.

- To plan the semester club activities
- To organize club meetings
- To ensure Skills Learning Classes are taken accordingly
5.3 Club Secretary
- Second highest vote during the Club In Charge election shall be the club secretary

- Help the club in charge in executing the semester plan
5.4 Multimedia club Members
- Membership shall be open to all the college students
- A member from each department from the first year is mandatory, to ensure that each department has a person with multimedia skills so as to help the department when the need comes.
- Certificate will be given to the members when he/she graduates and has to be a club member since the first year till the graduation.
- Attendance and sincerity shall be considered for the award of certificate
- Membership shall be removed if the member fails to abide by the Guidelines of CST Multimedia club 2025
5.4.1 Roles of the Club members

- Be regular to Skills Learning Class
- Support Club in Charge to execute the semester plan
6. Activities
- College Photographers shall attend the college events and share the photos to the College Page holder(Miss Damchoe) or update in the club’s social platforms(Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram, Youtube
- Club events shall be organized according to the semester plan
- Skill Learning Classes shall be held fortnightly, both practical and theory.
- Experienced members shall help the other members to learn the basic skills
- Once in the membership, the self-learning shall be stressed
- Multimedia club will produce a photo album every semester which will consist of all the activity done in college.
- Multimedia club will publish a paper monthly which will consist of activities done in college.
- Multimedia club will open up a photo gallery to showcase the work done by members.
7. Finance
- Club fund shall be raised through the entry fee of the events organized
- There shall be minimal charge for those who available the club’s service like video editing, poster editing.
