    1. Introduction

    The Entrepreneurship Club is a vibrant platform created to inspire and support individuals with a passion for innovation and business. It serves as a space where aspiring entrepreneurs can learn, share ideas, and develop the skills needed to turn concepts into successful ventures.

    Through interactive workshops, mentorship programs, networking sessions, and collaborative projects, the club empowers its members to think creatively, solve real-world problems, and explore sustainable business opportunities. By fostering a spirit of innovation and leadership, the Entrepreneurship Club aims to nurture the next generation of change-makers and contribute to economic and social growth.

    1.1  Background

    The Entrepreneurship Club at the College of Science and Technology (CST) was established 2021 under the incubation center of the Royal University of Bhutan. The club was founded with the vision to nurture and empower young aspiring entrepreneurs by providing a collaborative platform for innovation, skill development, and leadership within the college and the broader community.

    Aligned with the Royal University of Bhutan’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurial spirit among youth, the club organizes workshops, mentorship programs, and networking opportunities to equip members with practical knowledge and tools essential for starting and growing successful ventures. The club actively collaborates with local and regional partners to promote entrepreneurship as a driver of economic development and social impact.

    Vision To be the leading entrepreneurship club within the College of Science and Technology that inspires and empowers students to develop innovative ideas and transform them into successful ventures.

    Our Mission

     

      • To foster an entrepreneurial mindset among CST students through education, mentorship, and hands-on experience.

      • To provide a collaborative platform where students can share ideas, develop skills, and access valuable resources for entrepreneurship.

      • To encourage creativity, innovation, and problem-solving that contribute to personal growth and the CST community.

      • To connect student entrepreneurs with experts, alumni, and industry partners to support their journey from idea to startup.

    2.      Organizational Structure

    2.1    General Criteria and Roles
               Club Advisor

     

    • The Club Advisor oversees all club activities, provides strategic guidance, and ensures alignment with the goals of the incubation center and the College of Science and Technology.
    • Acts as a mentor and liaison with the university administration.                                                                                                                                                                                     
      Club Coordinators
    • are responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the club and organizing events, workshops, and meetings
    • They communicate with members, delegate tasks, and ensure that the club’s objectives are met effectively.
      2.2.2      Secretariat

      • Supports the coordinators by managing documentation, maintaining records of meetings and events, and handling communication and correspondence within the club and maintaining all necessary records.

      • Ensures smooth administrative functioning.

      2.2.3          General Members

      • Active participants who engage in club activities, workshops, and projects.

      • Members contribute ideas, collaborate with peers, and support the club’s mission to foster entrepreneurship within CST.

    Termination of Membership

    A member’s participation in the Entrepreneurship Club may be terminated under the following circumstances:

    1.  Non-Attendance:
      Failure to attend three consecutive scheduled meetings or activities without valid reason or prior notic
      • Reasons for absence will only be accepted if notified within the given timeframe set by the club administration, except in cases of genuine emergency.

    1. 2.Lack of Participation:
      Persistent failure to contribute or participate meaningfully in club activities, projects, or assigned tasks.
    2. 3.Violation of Club Rules & Code of Conduct:
      Any behavior that breaches the club’s constitution, policies, or the institution’s code of ethics.
    3. 4.Misconduct or Unprofessional Behavior:
      Actions that bring disrepute to the club or negatively affect its reputation, including disrespect toward members, coordinators, or partners.
    4. 5.Financial Mismanagement or Dishonesty:
      Misuse of club resources, funds, or confidential information.
    5. 6.Written Resignation:
      Voluntary withdrawal through written notice to the club coordinator.

    Procedure:

      • The member will be issued a written warning after the first violation.

      • If the behavior persists, the matter will be reviewed by the Club Coordinator and Executive Committee.

      • A formal termination notice will be issued if the committee decides by majority vote.
