The College of Science and Technology (CST) celebrated Diwali, the Festival of Lights, with great enthusiasm and cultural vibrancy. The celebration brought together students, faculty, and staff in a spirit of unity, joy, and cultural appreciation. As one of the most cherished festivals in the region, Diwali at CST became an opportunity for the college community to honour diversity and strengthen bonds among students from different backgrounds.

The event featured the lighting of traditional lamps symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. The campus glowed with rows of diyas, colourful decorations, and festive rangoli designs created by students. These artistic displays added to the warmth and beauty of the evening, showcasing the creativity and teamwork of the participants.

The program also included moments of reflection, where students shared the cultural meaning of the festival and its message of hope, renewal, and positivity. The celebration encouraged everyone to embrace kindness, gratitude, and harmony.

The event concluded with a small gathering where students and faculty enjoyed festive snacks and shared good wishes for happiness and prosperity. Diwali at CST was not only a cultural celebration but also a reminder of the college’s inclusive environment—where traditions, values, and diversity are respected and cherished. It created a memorable experience and strengthened the sense of community within the campus.
