Bhutan Toilet Organization (BTO)
Background
The Bhutan Toilet Organization (BTO) Club at CST is a student-led group committed to
promoting sanitation, hygiene awareness, and the upkeep of clean toilet facilities on campus. The club aims to advance dignity and health through sustained action and community involvement.
Purpose
To create and maintain cleaner, safer, and more dignified toilet facilities at the College of Science and Technology, and to foster awareness and positive attitudes towards public sanitation among
the student body and the wider community.
Vision
A Bhutan where everyone has access to clean and safe toilet facilities, promoting sanitation as a shared responsibility rather than an individual’s burden.

“Restoring Dignity One Toilet at a Time.”
Objectives

- Ensure regular cleaning and maintenance of toilet facilities on campus.
- Spread awareness about the importance of hygiene and sanitation.
- Change attitudes and behaviors toward toilet hygiene within the college community.
- Host activities and campaigns that promote sanitation and cleanliness.
- Secure necessary resources and funding to sustain club activities.
